Orochimaru had stored his energy in order to last until the transmigration process. Sasuke, on the other hand, has his determination set in secret. The transmigration of Orochimaru draws near.


6/18 (114) "The Eye of a Hawk"

Orochimaru is transformed and attacks, and thus obtains Sasuke's body. He had been yearning for obtaining the Sharingan for a long time. The transmigration ceremony starts, but this move is anticipated by Sasuke...


6/25 (115) "Zabuza's Sword"

Sasuke frees the man captive in the water tank, Suigetsu, who in turn informs him of his plan for getting 'the large sword of...' and Sasuke tells him to tag along with him. He accepts, and heads with Sasuke to the Country of Wave which holds the large sword, but an unexpected situation occurs.


7/2 (116) "Keeper of the Iron Prison"

Sasuke and Suigetsu visit the southern hideout, looking for Karin, the keeper of the prison. She is designated by Sasuke as a companion for him and Suigetsu. But, apparently, Karin doesn't respond reasonably to their claims. Sasuke meanwhile orders Suigetsu to release prisoners, and she...


7/9 (117) "Juugo of the North Hideout"

For a new addition to the team, with the enzyme being the cause for the cursed mark of Orochimaru, they visit the north hideout. Searching in the depths of the north hideout, they find a surprise.

Kakashi and the rest of the Konoha rookies start the search for Itachi. Everyone from Hebi set out to gather information on Itachi as well. Meanwhile all this happens, Sakura is led by one of the dogs into a town.


123. Clash (August 20)

Sasuke and Deidara run into each other and Clash in battle. Deidara recognizes Sasuke's abilities and makes it a one-sided battle from the sky.


124. Art (August 27)

In order to restore his honor from having been defeated by Itachi, Deidara's emotions burn deep inside with the desire of destroying the Sharingan. And so, Deidara uses his best exploding technique, the "C4 Garuda" in order to defeat "Itachi".


125. Dissapearance (September 3)

Sasuke's trail disappears after Deidara's suicidal attack. Karin becomes aware of it, and hurries Suigetsu to contact him.

Meanwhile, Naruto and friends continue their search for Sasuke. They too notice the huge explosion. They rush to ground zero where Kiba picks up Sasuke's scent, and attempt to pursue him.

Jiraiya's past is drawn in this 1-hour special!

Time: Nidaime Hokage's ruling era. Having just become a Genin, young Jiraiya is assigned to Sarutobi Hiruzen's squad. He watches Sarutobi's Summoning Jutsu, and is completly absorbed in space-time ninjutsu training. One day, Jiraiya wonders more about it and sets foot to Myouboku Mountain, where he is given an audience with the Great Toad Sage. There, he comes to know his visit was predicted beforehand.

So, it sounds like 95% anime-only... This is how filler should be made.

An Invitation to a Party

As he is fiollowing Itachi's tracks, Sasuke arrives at one of the Akatsuki's hideouts. Leaving his comrades behind, he infiltrates the hideout alone, when the shape of his older brother Itachi appears in front of him. However, it is a fake created with genjutsu. The fake Itachi tells Sasuke to go and wait at the Uchiha hideout. At the same time, the shinobi from Konoha are tracking Sasuke. Naruto finds out Sasuke's location with a shadow clone, but then the Akatsuki Tobi appears.

Summaries.

135 & 136. End of Vicissitudes! Brothers Reunited (November 19)

Itachi waits for Sasuke for their reencounter in the Uchiha hiding place. Sasuke remembers the Massacre. The brothers finally meet and get ready for a confrontation of fate. An exchange of intense jutsu then takes place. Itachi mentions an Uchiha having the third Sharingan. And a secret of the clan of the Mangekyo, from which Itachi has the second strongest eyes, unravels and shows the history of the whole clan after having returned from a terrible battle. The clan has a cursed history which bore bleeding fate, because they always demanded more power.


137. Amaterasu! (November 26)

Sasuke is robbed of the left eye by Itachi, but it was a Genjutsu from the Mangekyo. Sasuke tries to break the Genjutsu, and starts the counterattack in a wave of anger. Itachi attacks Sasuke with a stronger jutsu "Amaterasu". Itachi is emaciated by Sasuke and the battle of this ferociousness is going beyond their chakra limit.


138. Demise (December 3)

Itachi and Sasuke are running out of chakra. However, the last jutsu of Sasuke was only a strategic arrangement. Sasuke now uses his new Justu "Kirin" which is an embodiment actual lightning. Hit by the unavoidable attack which is Kirin, Itachi collapses. However, Sasuke is completely dumbfounded by Itachi who's body is protected by the jutsu called "Susanoo".
